UT and Alma-D: Leveraging a Library Management System to Provide Access to Digital Content and Facilitate Controlled Digital Lending

Abstract

UT Austin users experienced limited access to musical scores during the first year of the pandemic. Digitization was the logical solution to provide access to these types of materials. We developed a workflow, researched the licensing and used Alma D to manage these digital files. Recommendations and workflow tips will be discussed from the perspective of Music, Collections and Resource Delivery Librarians.
