    Abstract
Analog to digital conversion applications vary greatly and many different types of converters exist. Various designs target different characteristics. Serial converters are most precise and parallel topologies are the fastest. This thesis concentrates on the design of a second order Delta-Sigma modulator which is the mixed signal section of a Delta-Sigma analog to digital converter. This topology is currently used mostly in audio applications due to processing speed applications but has potential to satisfy many more applications as the processors’ speeds increase and the cost drops
