  • eComma ("The eCommentary Machine") was a web application that enables groups of students to comment together on a text. It was designed by a team of graduate students and faculty members of the Department of English at the University of Texas at Austin. COERLL maintained eComma and worked with teachers to implement it in the foreign language classroom.
  • COERLL's Gateway to Chinese project developed a suite of free interactive language learning resources for beginning Mandarin Chinese.
  • COERLL's Open Digital Badges projects explored the ways that language educators, educational institutions, professional organizations, and even businesses use digital badges as a system of recognition for learning and achievement. Digital badges can play a key role in translating lifelong learning into a powerful tool for engaging in communities of practice, demonstrating skills to others and initiating career development.
