    The Florida Citrus Labor Market

    This study is an analysis of the Florida Citrus Industry's harvesting labor force. Initially the intent was to view the Florida citrus harvesting labor force in the context of Piore and Doeringer's theory of primary and secondary labor markets (Piore and oeringer; 1971). The composition and organization of this labor market in combination with some recent events in its operation make it especially suitable for the study.
