Side 1 August 27, 1950 Rec. Aug 31. 50 My dear Sir John, I have your last letter and I am preparing copies of both concordances, though I don't know whether both will be equally valuable to the users of Scripta Minoa. They will be done by the time I leave here, so that I can leave them with you when I come by. I expect to leave here on the third of September and will get to London late that night. Since it would then be entirely too late to come up to Oxford the same night I think it best to take a room in one of the London hotels, although I found the Royal Oxford most comfortable before. This arrangement will also save me the labor of carrying my rather heavy suitcase quite so far. I shall then come up to Oxford in the morning of Monday, the 4th. I shall want to see you, if I may, and I want to see the tablets in the Museum again, and the other things for which I had no time on my last visit. I shall call up then when I get to Oxford, and arrange my schedule for the day. I hope these arrangements will be satisfactory to you. Sincerely Yours, Emmett L Bennett Jr
