McGEORGE BUNDY THE WHITE HOUSE Subject: Suggested Presidential Message for the Sixth International Fair, Brno, Czechoslovakia Enclosed is a suggested message for presentation at the U. s. Exhibition in connection with the sixth International Trade Fair, Brno, Czechoslovakia, September 6·20, 1964. The u. s. Exhibition theme will be "World Wide Presen­tation of Advanced Technology" in keeping with the emphasis on advanced engineering and design that keynotes this year's fair. Our individual exhibitions will include Telstar and Syncom satellites, pointing up their service to all nations in the fields of conmunications and weather forecasting. The proposed Presidential Message and the Exhibition itself are designed to give visual evidence of the present interest of the United States in Czechoslovakia and its people and. to show how our advanced technology benefits the people in our own and other nations.
