Annual Registration Fee: Sch.ools: NON-RENTAL, per school per school year_____________ ... $1.00 (All films with no price stated are non-rentals.) GROUP RENTAL, per school per school year_______ $25.00 (Entitles patron to one day's use of all rental films marked with an asterisk (*), and five days' use of non-rental films marked with an asterisk (*) . ) 

Clubs: 	Non-rental service, per service 25c. (Three reels or less.) Rental films at prices listed in catalogue.

Time Loaned, Exclusive of Travel: NON-RENTAL films loaned for five days or less. RENTAL prices quoted in catalogue are for one day only;

rental for each subsequent day is 50 per cent of the first day's rental, on all films renting for 50c or more. There is no reduction for subsequent days on films renting for less than 50c. Rental is charged for each day film is in hands of patron.

Prompt Return of Films: Remember that films are booked for other patrons and must be returned promptly. Rental films kept overtime will be charged at the rate in the catalogue, non-rentals are 25c per reel per day 


for all overtime. This Bureau reserves the right to telegraph or telephone collect for overdue films. 
4. 	Transportation: Transportation costs both ways must be paid by the borrower. 
S. 	Reports: 
Reports must be sent promptly or this Bureau reserves the right to discontinue service. 
6. 	Damage: Loss or damage will be charged to the exhibitor. Reels must be kept intact, as received. Do not remove header or trailer to fasten reels together on one large reel. A charge of 25c will be 
made when a header or trailer is not returned. Return reel band with reel. Do not rewind after last showing. 
7. 	Order Ten Daya in Advance of Showing: 
When ordering, state exact date for showing, and give first, second, and third choice of films or of dates for showing. This Bureau reserves the right to substitute on late orders. 
8. 	Sound Films: 
Sound films cannot be run on silent projectors. Therefore, sound films will be shipped only to patrons who state in their orders the make and model of the sound projector they are using. 
9. 	Use: 
Material sent from this Bureau must be shown free, unless admission charges or collections are used for some definite school purpose.

FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SOUND-ON-FILM 
PROJECTION 
Efficient projection of talking motion pictures depends on the careful handling of the sound film. 
Caution. Never attempt to run a "sound" film on any other than a sound projector. Irreparable damage to sound film will result from running it on a "silent" projector. 
The beam of light in the sound head is so fine, and the photo­electric cell so delicate, that every grain of dust on the sound track or the least scratch in the emulsion will cause magnified, unnatural noises and a distortion of the sound. 
The film should never be pulled tight, or "cinched" on the reels. When this is done, each layer of film slides on the next and dust particles scratch the emulsion and damage the sound track. 
Keep the film gate clean. As the film passes through the gate, a certain amount of emulsion is scraped off which, if allowed to accumulate, forms a hard scale on the guides. Sometimes the fric­tion of this scale is so great that the perforations of the film are tom by the intermittent trying to feed the films thus tightly held. 
When the film breaks. If the film should break stop the machine immediately to prevent injuring the film. Rethread the remaining portion, putting the tip end of the rethreaded part far enough under the loose end of the previously projected film on the take-up reel so that the loose end of the projected portion will lap over the tip at least one complete revolution of the lower reel, and thus hold it securely when the projector is started again. 
Make no splices in sound films. Breaks in the films will be re­paired by the Bureau, where the splices will be properly opaqued. Should the film be mutilated, return the damaged part with the reel, so that the Bureau can make replacement of the identical part, thereby keeping the continuity complete. 
Never use bent or defective reels which may injure the sound track. 
Be sure to read and preserve the book of instructions sent with your projector. Follow threading operations in e..-ery detail. Oil as directed. Failure to read and follow instructions causes trouble.

crushed. Huge electric hoists bring the ore to the sur­
face where it is crushed again, passed over a picking 
belt, pulverized in rod mills, concentrated by flotation, 
and smelted, in reverberatory furnaces and converters. 
Scenes that follow show spectacular operations of draw­
ing the slag and tapping a cupola furnace, also electro­
lytic refining and casting. 
Reel 2 portrays the increased importance of nickel 
alloys, 	chiefly those with iron: steel, and copper. It 
sho.ws the electric furnace in which the alloys are made,
