Complete performance in­ structions for organizations are listed below. An organization shall not repeat a number used by that group in any Competition-Festival during the previous three years. Every organization shall perform music prescribed for the class of competition to which it is assigned. No group may perform music from any other classi­ fication. CHORAL GROUPS Choral groups entering a Regional Competition-Festival must comply strictly with the following requirements: Class AAAA-(Average membership of 845 and over.) Sing two numbers from the prescribed list designated as DIFFICULT and a third number from any source. At least one of the numbers must be sung A Cappella and all may be. Class AAA-(Average membership of 370-844, inclusive.) Sing one number from the list designated as DIFFICULT; a second number from either the MEDIUM or the DIFFICULT lists and a third number from any source. One number must be sung A Cappella and all may be. Class AA-(Average membership of 200---369, inclusive.) Sing two numbers from either the list designated as MEDIUM or the list designated as DIF­FICULT and a third number from any source. One number must be sung A Cappella and all may be. Class A-(Average membership of 120---199, inclusi\'e.) Sing one number from either the MEDIUM or DIFFICULT lists, another number from either the EASY, MEDIU~I. or DIFFICULT lists plus a third number from any source. One number must be sung A Cappella and all may be. Class B-(Average membership of under 119.) Sing two numbers from either the EASY, MEDIUM, or DIFFICULT lists and a third number from any source. One number must be sung A Cappella and all may be. Class CC and Class C-Sing three numbers from any source. Suggested sources appear in this bulletin. Judges will be instructed to criticize rhoire of numbers. BANDS Bands entering Texas Regional Competition-Festivals must conform strictly with the following requirements: Class AAAA-Bands from high schools with an average membership during the preceding accounting period of 845 or more students in grades 9, IO, 11, and 12 shall perform 2 selections from the list designated as Class AAAA plus a march of the director's own selection. Class AAA-Bands from high schools with an average membership of 370-844 students, inclusive, in {Hades 9, IO, 11, and 12 during the preceding account­ing period shall perform 2 selections from the list designated as Class AAA plus a march of the director's own selection. Class AA-Bands from high schools with an average membership of 200-369 students, inclusive, in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 during the preceding ac­counting period shall perform 2 selections from the list designated as Class AA plus a march of the director's own selection. The University of Texas Publication Class A-Bands from high schools with an average membership o.f 120-199 students, inclusive, in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 during the preceding account· ing period, AND Class CC-Bands from junior high schools with a current enrollment of 500 or more students in grade 9 and below shall perform 2 selections from the list designated as Class A and CC plus a march of the director's own selection. Class B-Bands from high schools with an average membership of 119 or less students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 during the preceding accounting period, AND Class C-Bands from junior high schools currently enrolling less than 500 students in grade 9 and below, AND bands from junior high schools com­posed of only grade 8 and below-regardless of enrollment-shall perform 2 numbers from the list designated as Class B and C plus a march of the director's own selection. ORCHESTRAS AND STRING ORCHESTRAS Orchestras and string orchestras entering Texas Regional Competition-Festivals must comply strictly with the following requirements: Class AAAA-Organizations from high schools with an average membership during the preceding accounting period of 845 or more students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, AND Class AAA-Organizations from high schools with an average membership dur­ing the preceding accounting period of 370-844 students, inclusive, in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 shall perform 2 selections from the lists designated as Grade IV, Grade V, or Grade VI difficulty. Orchestras shall perform a third num­ber for strings only from any source. Class AA-Organizations from high schools with an average membership during; the preceding accounting period of 200-369 students, inclusive, in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 shall perform 2 selections from the lists designated as Grade III, Grade IV, Grade V, or Grade VI difficulty. Orchestras shall perform a third number for strings from any source. Class A-Organizations from high schools with an average membership of 120­199 students, inclusive, in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 during the preceding ac· counting period, AND Class CC-Organizations from junior high schools with a current enrollment of 500 or more students in grade 9 and below shall perform 2 selections from the lists designated as Grade II and above. Orchestras shall perform a third number for strings from any source. Class B-Organizations from high schools with an average membership of 119 or less students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 during the preceding accounting period, AND Class C-Organizations from junior high schools currently enrolling less than 500 students in grade . 9 and below, AND organizations from junior high schools containing only grade 8 and below-regardless of enrollment-shall perform 2 selections from the lists designated as Grade I or above. Orchestras shall perform a third number for strings taken from any source.
