| Abstract: | This thesis document contains an exploration of my development as a playwright during the three years of the MFA Playwriting Program in the Department of Theatre and Dance at The University of Texas at Austin. The discussion of my evolution as a writer in the Playwriting Program runs concurrent to the progression of my thesis play fight through its inception, development, and production. Also included in this thesis document is the full text of the play fight which was written and produced during my time in the Playwriting Program. |
